Mary Tyler Moore dead at 80

American actress Mary Tyler Moore has died at the age of 80. She died from complications of diabetes and other health issues. Moore was born in Brooklyn in 1936 and worked on Happy Hotpoint commercials. However, she is known for her role as "Laura Petrie" in Dick van Dyke and The Mary Tyler Moore Show where she portrayed a single working woman. May she rest in peace.
