Sacerdotus - "Come now, let us reason together." Isaiah 1:18

The Leadership Conference of Women Religious is meeting this week to discuss its response to the Vatican which called for a renewal of the organization. (see http://sacerdotvs.blogspot.com/2012/04/nun-crackdown.html) Barbara Marx Hubbard was invited to speak. Before her introduction, a strange ceremony took place. Some of the sisters ran about her with orange banners while others said "Spirit of Vision, Spirit of Life, Spirit of courage, be with her now! Wisdom and truth be on her lips!"
This ceremony seems a big "New Age-ish" and the "prayer" used is obviously an attempt at gender neutral inclusive language politics. Hubbard then addressed the crowd with some strange New Age mumbo jumbo.
It is obvious that this conference has lost its Catholic sense. It is now some New Age feminist cult.
