After many years in that order, she received what she called "a call within a call." She founded the Missionaries of Charity which ministers to the poorest of the poor, first in India and then throughout the globe.
Mother Teresa is a great example to us all, not just Catholics. Even Atheists who are curious about God can learn from her. She too doubted God at times. This is a normal thing as one advances in the spiritual life. She is a model of true religious life. In a time where some women in orders want to use their position to push feminist ideas and strange anti-Catholic rhetoric, Mother Teresa pushed for the praise of Jesus, His love and fidelity to His Catholic Church.
Like with anyone who does good, she had those who were suspicious of her and showed their hate visibly. Nevertheless, like a true Christian, Mother Teresa prayed for them and continued her work to service the poor without interruption.
DEAR JESUS, help me to spread Thy fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love. Penetrate and possess my whole
being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Thine. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Thy presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus.
