The Rainbow Delusion

"Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. - Matthew 7:15

Our Lord was clear that there will be those who will present themselves as something good but in reality are deceivers.  On Twitter a self proclaimed Homosexual "minister" of a Liberal sect attempted to present a contrarian position in regards to Homosexuality and how God views it.  She claims that God accepts all, loves all and does not care about how people live their lives.

Is this really the case?  Does God accept all?  In 1 Cor. 6:9-11, St. Paul says:

"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexualsnor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."

St. Paul is the man who was formerly known as Saul.  He persecuted Christians until Christ appeared before him and converted him.  (see Acts 9)  So since Christ converted him and gave him a mandate, Paul's words are valid.  Notice how he tells us who will not inherit the kingdom of God.   He mentions effeminate and homosexual people.  He continues that some of them lived those lifestyles but were 'washed, sanctified and justified in the Lord Jesus Christ and Spirit of God.'   This basically means that among the people he was preaching to there were some who lived this sinful lifestyle.  But, they changed- they converted and stopped.

God loves everyone yes, but He does not love Sin.  Homosexuality is a lifestyle that causes great friction in the relationship between God and a Soul.  It is one of the Sins that cries out to God for vengeance (Genesis 18:20).  The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of the homosexual behavior among its citizens (Jude 5-7)

God Himself said it is an abomination (Lev. 18:22, 29)  This does not sound like God accepts everyone and everything they do.  In reality, God requires us to follow His Commandments and Will.  Jesus taught us the Our Father prayer that says, "your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."  It is not about us, it is about God.

Jesus would never condone Homosexuality because it would go against the Word He gave us in the Scriptures.  God is Truth, He cannot contradict Himself.

Ironically an Atheist brought to attention this "minister's" views and she responded by disregarding the Scripture - The Word of God!

This is disturbing.  This minister no longer represents Christ.  She represents herself.  She loses credibility as a Christian.  As Romans 1:25 says: "For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."  She exchanges the Truth of God for a lie.  Her views serve homosexuals who are the creatures of the Creator and do not serve the Creator.

The Scriptures were written by men physically speaking, but inspired by the God.  2 Timothy 3:16 says "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;"  It is sad that she disregards God's Word.

Jesus promised that the Church would not be lead to error by announcing that the Spirit of Truth will guide the Church and teach her what to say (Luke 12:12).   The Catholic Church gave us the Bible, so since Jesus is God, Is the Truth and does not lie, then this minister rejects God's Truthfulness and Omnipotence by rejecting the Scriptures and His Church.

God is irrelevant according to her.  The most important thing are the people.

Christianity is about Christ!  The name "Christ" is at the beginning of it.  It is not about the people or what the people think.  It is about Christ and the Will of the Father (John 6:37-40).

She claims that I am a bigot for reminding her what God's will is.  She calls it, the "Catholic way."  This is not true.  Judaism, Islam and many other faiths teach that Homosexuality is against God's will and nature.  In Judaism, the Talmud says: "The earth quakes on account of the sin of homosexual acts. God said, ‘You made your genitals throb in an unnatural act. By your life, I shall shake the earth on account of the homosexual acts"

So if God spoke to the Hebrews and then came as Christ and formed the Catholic Church on Peter the Rock as the head with the Keys of the Kingdom (Matthew 16:18-19), then this is not just a "Catholic" way of things, but God's way.

To this minister, belief is not important.

Jesus says the opposite in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."  God's will is important.  We cannot walk around believing in God, doing whatever we want and expect to go to heaven.  We must follow God's will.  His will is that all be gathered in One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism (Ephesians 4:5).  We must belong to God's Catholic Church which is the pillar and foundation of the Truth (1 Timothy 3:15).

It is disturbing that this lady is preaching things that are not true.  She is not a minister of Christ.  She is a minister of relativism, and indifferentism. She preaches the Delusion of the Rainbow- that is to say, the distortion of God, Faith, Morals and Scripture in order to serve the created - Homosexual hedonism.

Do not be deceived!  Many false prophets have gone into the world with the spirit of the Anti Christ attempting to lead many away from God.  They create a false Jesus, a false God.  A God who does not care about sin and just loves everyone even if they do evil.  This is not the Real Jesus or God.  This is god in their image.  Test every one (1 John 4:1).

Take the advice from Galatians 1:8:

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!"

Let us pray for this Sue who deceives herself and others by preaching a gospel that is not of Christ nor the one Christ sent the Apostles to preach.  Homosexuality will never be a good in a the eyes of God.  Many will try to distort God's word in order to justify this lifestyle, do not believe them.

Say no to the Rainbow Delusion and Yes to God's Word.

  1. It is interesting that Reverend Sue claims special knowledge of God's mind without a shred of evidence. Even time tarnished written evidence would have to be considered if it existed. There is none. She also forgets to mention that not one time tested Eastern, or Western religion, or and monotheistic spiritual belief system condones sodomy. If it is her affliction, it is that she must deal with.

Everyone is shackled to a spiritual albatross. The mission is to seek God through Christ and the Holy Spirit in the service of others, whereupon truth is revealed as Goodness, and God can then be found within you, and without you. Battling your shortcomings and sin is fruitless unless you ask and allow Christ to re-baptize your soul through forgiveness.

The Hebrew laws were carefully followed by the man Jesus. He was a Jew until death. I think Reverend Sue is no Christian, and has no personal knowledge of the Love of God. It is very obvious to me that she has never made contact with the living God. May she one day seek the one she offends each day; and may He forgive her and save her soul.

    1. Yes, she is one of the "go with the flow" types. She has no conviction and just waters down God and Christianity in order to justify her LGBT agenda and not "offend" others. This is not Christianity. A true Christian preaches Christ when He is in season and out of season. When people engage me who do not like my Catholic faith, I engage them back. I don't water down the faith nor give wishy washy answers so that people who engage me don't get offended. We have to give a reason for the hope that is in us a Peter wrote. Thank God we have Bishops like Dolan and Jenky who speak out knowing they will get a lot of hate mail afterwards.

  2. This is Bull.
I am deeply offended by this, which I found while looking for a picture of a rainbow for an open-mindedness presentation. Wow. How un-openminded.

    1. Hello "Thrasher," you've missed the post of the blog post. I had an encounter with this self-proclaimed "minister" in which I was offended.

This lady watered down the Word of God in order to condone homosexual lifestyles. As a Catholic, I cannot allow anyone to distort God's Word to justify sin and evil. Moreover, we Christians have a duty to admonish each other when one goes astray. This lady is putting homosexuality above the precepts of God!

I don't understand why an apologia regarding Scripture and homosexuality would be offensive to anyone. This is our belief. If you get offended by the beliefs of others then aren't you the one that is 'close-minded?'

An open-mind does not mean that one blindly accepts every opinion. Having an open-mind means that we listen to those opinions and make a judgment on them based on facts, logic, reason and common sense.

There is no justification for homosexuality whether religious or scientifically. It is a social construct of men. God does not approve of it, and no gene exists that predisposes a human being as homosexual.

Most psychologists believe it to be a factor of nurturing. I for one have read and listened to every argument in favor of homosexuality and found none to be convincing.

    2. Hello "Sacerdotus,"

I was also looking for an image of a rainbow when I found your hilarious page. So are you making judgements "based on facts, logic, reason and common sense?" Or are you getting all of your opinions out of a book? Using facts, logic, reason and common sense ONLY, give me one single reason I should believe in your invisible sky fairy to begin with.
      Go on.
Jesus didn't say a single word about homosexuality. Its only mentioned in the old testament, which also suggests you should publicly execute your son if he's stubborn and rebellious (Deut. 21-18), cut off a woman's hand if she touches your balls (Deut 25-11) and countless other hilarious things that you would expect from a book written for middle eastern peasants 2000 years ago.
      Grow up

    3. Hello "anonymous," I am curious to know why is everyone looking up "rainbow" for? Scientifically speaking there is nothing unique about it. Anyhow, I interpret your need to find my post hilarious as an attempt to mask fear. Biologists theorize that laughter and smiling is an ancient defense mechanism.

In any event, your ignorance on Scripture is clear in your comment.

First my post was meant to show the contradictions and lies twitter user "Sue" tweeted on Twitter. Second, Jesus was clear on what constitutes a natural conjugal relationship, see Matthew 19:4-6

"Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh' ? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Notice He is specific on the distinction of genders, 'male and female.' Moreover, He highlights that both become 'one flesh,' meaning that both can procreate. Homosexual couples cannot become 'one flesh.'

Lastly, the verses you take out of context deals with laws that existed at the time they were written. This was the practice at the time. Even today, there are nations that have strict punishments such as cutting off a hand for theft.

You cannot discredit Scripture for merely highlighting a culture's ways in a particular period in time. The US Constitution is a more recent document compared to Scripture, yet has ridiculous things that had to be amended.

Even today many states have strange laws that have not been erased from the books! Also, some of Kant's writings are misogynistic and racist. We cannot discredit his philosophical mind based on the knowledge he had at the time he made those misogynistic and racist comments. They do not take away from his intellectual value as a whole.

Instead of 'growing up,' I suggest you educate yourself and learn what the Bible really says and also see that even in our modern times ideas and laws exist that are "ridiculous."

  3. It's me again.
Thanks for putting my post up.
You didn't use facts logic or reason at all. You just quoted a bunch of crap from the bible as I expected. So the bible's full of strange laws that need to be amended, huh? Couldn't agree more. Maybe the whole hating homosexuals thing needs amendment too, along with the other worthless, hateful, misogynistic and superstitious crap? Who decides what stays and what goes? Or is it just what's convenient for the individual? Why pick on homosexuality specifically? Me thinks he protests too much.
Gay people are unnatural because the can't procreate. That's the gist I got from your reply. Can Catholic priests procreate? Do you see where I'm going with this? I don't know if a middle-aged virgin in a dress is really qualified to tell anyone what they should get up to in the privacy of their own bedrooms.

    1. The post was not meant to be a dissertation on a topic. It was meant to show the hypocrisy and misrepresentation of a self-proclaimed minister. My Biblical quotes addressed your misconceptions. If you don't like the Bible defended with the Bible, then don't misquote it.

The Bible is full of laws that represent different times and cultures. One must read them in context. The laws that matter are not the civil or cultural ones, but the morals one. This is where the answer to your next question comes into play.

No one hates homosexuals - unless it is that crazy sect that protests funerals. What is frowned upon is the behavior that is unbefitting of a creature created in the Image of God. Your accusations of misogyny and superstition are without foundation. They are based on ignorance on the subject matter and bias.

Homosexual behavior defeats the purpose of "Male and Female He created them." It also defeats the evolutionary sexual functions of what biology determined. Homosexual behavior opens the door to any type of sexual behavior that only serves to benefit man's abuse of free will and nature. Attacking the behavior is not the same as attacking the person. Telling an alcoholic or drug abuser that his/her habits are harmful does not equate to hating him/her. The "hate" rhetoric is just a play on words and is not rational, so please spare me the nonsense.

My comment on procreation was in connection to Jesus' own words, please see the previous comment. Catholic priests cannot procreate because of celibacy, however, that does not take away from the fact that they can. Homosexuality completely prevents this gift from being unwrapped, so to speak. A priest renounces conjugal relationships for a greater good - mainly to serve God and His people. Do you see where I am going with this?

Homosexuality offers nothing for the good of man, either spiritually or temporally. As a matter of fact, the lifestyle is plagued with diseases, infidelity, larges amounts of mental illness cases. It is a destructive life. Again, let me be clear: the lifestyle is destructive, not the PEOPLE.

Anyone who is wise and knowledgeable can teach on any issue regardless of their virginal status. What of a sex-ed teacher who is a virgin? They do exist.

I invite you to post here http://sacerdotvs.blogspot.com/2011/11/what-is-function-of-homosexuality-in.html and show your reason and logic behind your defense of homosexuality. Please leave behind the rhetoric, just provide science. As you will see, others have tried and failed

  5. I deeply lament the missed opportunities for the remnant (and that's who we now are) to act in Truth and Charity through sustained public witness. The rainbow is essential to their victory. Once you hear Gilbert Baker (the flag's creator) describe the link to Genesis and the blood of Jesus, you see the source of his 'inspiration.' (There is a video on this that can be accessed through a Google Search on: The Real Crime? Rainbow)

So we still see Catholics using this rainbow to give them identify without stressing God's original covenant and the ultimate connection to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. We must not give away this symbol.

As for the 'hedonism' that drives the gay agenda to its ultimate purpose and the 'autonomy' that they seek (like Reverend Sue's autonomy from all history and logic) I might add the other three key attitudes/factors: 'dualism,' 'misguided compassion' and 'utility.'

These are the underpinnings for the popular support that drives what we see happening today (in Ireland too). This is another End of Life issue, the end of Married and Family Life. It is as if euthanasia was just administered by a lethal judicial injection.

Four years ago I posted The Citadel in an attempt to strengthen individual hearts against this onslaught, I have received no response from the powers to be in the mass media, only deafening silence. Why?

I 'flew' the Covenant Flag in front of the Supreme Court in a animation video to demonstrate the importance of 'going to the high ground.' Nobody picked up the standard. In Gettysburg, the standard was what rallied the troops.

I profoundly regret that I failed to make a real U.S. cotton fibered living flag to wave in freedom and establish the objective rallying point.

Mary has the victory, but we have a pivotal role to play in this battle to save souls.

I will send links to anyone who responds.

    God Bless America!
