Ascension


Today is the Ascension.  Today Our Lord went to heaven.  He did what He had to do while on Earth.  He now sits at the right hand of the Father and will return again to judge the living and the dead.  When will He come?  No one knows.  Our job is to be ready for that day and hour.

Some ask: why didn't Jesus stay forever?  Well He is with us in the Blessed Sacrament.  He had to go in His human form in order for the Paraclete, or the Holy Spirit to come.(John 16:7)
Because of this, the Holy Spirit came on Pentecost and remains with the Church even till today despite scandals and nonsense seen among Catholics.

Let us pray for Christ to return soon.
