Zelendsky vs Trump: Oval Office Argument

The recent Oval Office confrontation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked global attention. What began as a high-stakes meeting to discuss U.S.-Ukraine relations and a potential minerals agreement quickly escalated into a heated exchange, leaving diplomatic ties strained and the world watching

.

The tension reportedly stemmed from differing expectations. Trump emphasized the need for Ukraine to show more gratitude for U.S. support and pushed for a ceasefire with Russia, even without solid security guarantees. Zelensky, however, stood firm, arguing that Russian President Vladimir Putin could not be trusted, citing past broken agreements
. The argument, which unfolded in front of cameras, was marked by sharp interruptions and pointed remarks, with Trump accusing Zelensky of "gambling with the lives of millions".

The fallout was immediate. Trump canceled a planned press conference and negotiations, later posting on Truth Social that Zelensky had "disrespected the United States" and could return "when ready for peace". Zelensky, on the other hand, maintained his stance, thanking the U.S. for its support while reiterating Ukraine's need for a just and lasting peace.

This public clash has drawn mixed reactions. European leaders have largely rallied behind Zelensky, emphasizing Ukraine's fight for sovereignty and democracy. Meanwhile, the incident has raised questions about the future of U.S.-Ukraine relations and the broader geopolitical landscape.

The Oval Office showdown serves as a stark reminder of the complexities of international diplomacy, especially in times of conflict. It highlights the delicate balance between gratitude and assertiveness, trust and skepticism, and the ever-present challenge of aligning national interests on the global stage.

Atheism Declining in Russia

Atheism is on the decline worldwide. This is nothing new.  However, it has fallen dramatically in Russia.  According to a recent poll by the Levada research center, atheism has declined by 50% in the once Communist nation which was ruled by atheism.  Theists total about 86% of Russia's population. 44% of those polled represented themselves as "quite religious," while 33% stated they were "not too religious."  Only 9% were described as "very religious."  Russian Orthodoxy has the dominant control of religious beliefs in the nation with Catholicism coming in second.  However, 92% view the Catholic Church favorably despite being Russian Orthodox.

This is good news indeed. Atheism is not as strong as some atheists would want us to believe. The ideology seems strong due to its activity on the internet.  However, in the real world, atheism has no such power nor influence. We have seen this with the constant failures of the so-called "Reason Rally" in the United States.  Elsewhere, atheism lurks in the shadows of the left.

Atheism is answerable.  I have dedicated much of my ministry combating its errors and have written my first volume of "Atheism Is Stupid" which is geared towards refuting atheism at its core using science, philosophy and other fields of academia.  You can purchase it at several book stores, see: http://www.sacerdotus.com/2015/12/my-book-atheism-is-stupid-on-sale.html.   Atheists feel like they have refuted God and religion.  In reality, they have only unmasked their ignorance and misconceptions.  Russia was once the powerful Soviet Union ruled by atheism, now, it is slowly becoming more democratic and atheism is dying in this nation.  We must continue to refute atheism and push back against its errors.  It looks like Our Lady of Fatima is stopping Russia from spreading her errors indeed!

Flight MH17

It seems Malaysian Airlines cannot catch a break.  Another of its planes went missing but this time the situation is different.  Malaysian flight MH17 on a Boeing 777-200 was shot down by missilles on route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.  THe flight left at 12:15pm and never made its 13 hour flight. THe pilots and passengers possibily died instantly and did not have any warning of the impending doom from the projectile heading towards them.

All 285 people, many of them children, were killed. The whole situation is heartbreaking and disturbing. Leaders and media pundits are pointing fingers at Russia and Ukrain rebels as being responsible for the shooting down of this flight. The black boxes are trying to be collected in order to figure out what really happened.  Voices were overheard on radio frequencies alluding to possible knowledge of the attack by Ukraine rebels.  Only time will tell who was really responble.

See the victims here:  http://hollywoodlife.com/pics/malaysia-airlines-plane-crash-pics-families-mourn-photos/#!1/hans-de-borst-daughter-vladimir-putin-ftr/

Let us pray for these people who died in this horrible attack, and let us pray for their loved ones who are going through a lot of suffering now.

Putin - Gays Pedophiles

Russia has been on the news lately due to the Sochi Oympic and recent terrorist bombings. However, it is also on the news due to supposed inflammatory comments made by its leader, Vladimir Putin.  He apparently equated homosexuals to 'pedophiles' and told them to 'leave our children alone' while stating that homosexuality must be wiped out of the nation.

From reading his actual words in context, I believe he was referring to the law in his nation that protects minors from the propaganda of homosexuality.  He is not calling homosexuals 'pedophiles' by saying to 'leave the children alone.'  He is merely saying to stop indoctrinating children with homosexual rhetoric.

It seems the media is at it again trying to ride the drama of the LGBT community against Putin and Russia.  The victim-card never gets old.

"PussyRiots"

A Punk rock band was sentenced to 2 years for hooliganism, disturbing the peace, and religious bigotry after barging in an Russian Orthodox church disturbing the peace and desecrating a religious building.  They claim to have done this to protest President Putin and Patriarch Kirill I.  Already, some are imitating these protesters in New York, but did not enter any Church building.  They just blocked traffic and were annoying New Yorkers.

I am all for free speech, but one cannot barge into private property and harass people.  It is unfair and immoral.   Whether the building is a Church or not, it is wrong to hijack a place that is not yours it in order to voice your opinion.

The 2 year sentence may be a bit too much, but they do need to set an example that this behavior cannot be tolerated.

I hope copy cats won't attempt something similar in Churches around the world.  A Church is a place of prayer, a place of peace; not for political dissent or juvenile nonsense.

Take a look at the video, it is disturbing.
