San Bernardino Shooting

At around 11 AM PT time, it is believed that three heavily armed gunmen wearing body armor entered Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California and opened fire.  The facility serves more than 30, 000 individuals with developmental disabilities.  Early reports state that 20 were killed, however, other sources are saying that 20 were wounded and 3 or 8 were killed.  The shooters apparently fled in a black SUV and are on the loose.  There is no news on whether this attack is domestic terrorism or an attack by ISIS.  The Inland Regional Center would be considered a 'soft' target.  

Please pray for all those effected.

UPDATE 1

There SUV was spotted in a local neighborhood.  A police chased followed.  The suspects fired at the police and threw at them what looked like pipe bombs.  Both suspects were shot and killed, one was see running away from the SUV but was apprehended.  The two suspects who were killed were male and female, dressed in black tactical clothing and had assault weapons as well as handguns.  So far there is no word as to whether this attack is terror related.   Apparently, there was a party at the center than was attacked.  During this party, an altercation took place.  It is believed that maybe those involved left the party and came back to retaliate.  However, we are not sure about this scenario.  Questions still rise such as Why would they have pipe bombs and other assault gear?   I will update when I learn more.

UPDATE 2:  Dec. 3, 2015

The names of the suspects have been released.  Syed Farook and his wife Fasheena Malik.  Farook worked for the San Bernardino health department as an inspection. He apparently was radicalized by online propagandists and had a stash of weapons including bombs at his home.  One bomb was built into a remote control toy car. The authorities are not calling the attack terrorism, but have not ruled it out. It seems the attack was based on some kind of a disgruntled employee scenario but questions remain regarding why Syed was so heavily armed.  Moreover, both suspects had smashed their cellphones and removed a hard drive from a computer showing that they wanted to hide something from the authorities.



UPDATE 3: Dec. 4, 2015
The landlord of the property where both Farook and Malik lived at opened up the apartment to journalists which is rare.  Apparently, the police have already finished their investigation and allowed the landlord access to the place.  Moreover, Fasheena Malik had a Facebook alias where she pledged allegiance to ISIS and its leaders.  Over 2,500 bullets and other weapons were discovered which may indicate that this couple may have been a sleeper cell.  FBI officials are declaring the attack an act of terrorism.
