This discovery was published in The Astrophysical Journal and is titled ALFALFA DISCOVERY OF THE MOST METAL-POOR GAS-RICH GALAXY KNOWN: AGC 198691. The discovery of these heavy elements can bring about a quantitative test for the 'Big Bang.' As it stands, it is nearly impossible to study empirically the birth of the universe. Any data deriving from AGC 198691 can shed some light into the infancy of the universe and what was possibly before it, if anything.
