2 Nurses With Ebola

Shortly after the death of Thomas Eric Duncan who was the first person reported in America as having Ebola, two nurses were found to have been infected.  Amber Vinson and Nina Pham both cared for Duncan and now have Ebola.  Many are criticizing Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital for how they have handled Duncan and its own staff in regards to preparing them for Ebola patients.

It is believed that Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital did not have the proper equipment necessary to fully protect nurses. Moreover, it is very easy to contract the disease as nurses remove the special garments, masks and gloves. Also, Dr. Friedman of the CDC has come under fire for not taking the Ebola situation in America seriously.  He made several statements on air saying that American hospitals are prepared to receive any Ebola patients.  However, nurses and other staff members dispute that claim stating that they are not properly trained nor have the proper safety equipment for themselves in order to care for patients with the disease.

There is even more disturbing news.  Amber Vinson was allowed to fly on a commercial jet with 132 other passengers while she had Ebola.  According to her, the CDC gave her the okay to fly.  This has brought even more criticism of the agency and they are now making changes in regards to what fever temperature is the benchmark for preventing those with Ebola to fly or travel.  A search is underway now to track down the 132 passengers who traveled on the same commercial jet as Vinson. The plane is still in service as I write this despite calls from the public and others to put it out of commission.

Ebola is a serious matter.  Flights to and from West Africa should be grounded.  The CDC should provide better training to medical staff around US hospitals.  Decisions to allow a person who may be contaminated with Ebola must not be left to airline employees who most likely do not have medical knowledge or even degrees. It seems that the CDC arrogantly overestimated Ebola believing "advanced" America can handle anything. We all know that bacteria and viruses can humble the dominant species on Earth with ease.  This is a no-brainer.  More planning and training needs to be implemented in order to stop Ebola from becoming an epidemic in the United States of America where so many people travel to and fro and where many people enter legally and illegally.

Let us pray for the speedy recovering for all Ebola patients.

Ebola in Texas -UPDATED

The first case of Ebola has just arrived to the United States of America.  A man, Thomas Duncan who traveled to Liberia and also the Washington metropolitan area eventually ending up in Dallas, Texas was diagnosed with the deadly virus.  He was admitted to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday and remains there in isolation.  He came in contact with five children and they are also under quarantine.

Hospital officials claim that he was not infectious when traveling and that no one should have contracted the disease.  However, hospitals throughout the nation are on alert and prepared to receive any possible infected patients.  Critics are stating that the hospital treating him did not follow CDC guidelines.  The patient went to the hospital feeling ill and was sent home with antibiotics.  This is a concern for all because he had the symptoms that allow the virus to spread via bodily fluids.

As expected, many Americans are concerned that Ebola has reached our part of the world and was not discovered at the airport or even at the hospital when Duncan first complained of feeling ill.

Let Kids Be Kids!

Sex education has been a heavy topic to discuss after the disgusting curriculum about to be implemented in NYC public schools.  Some claim that it is important for kids to know about condoms, sex, diseases, abortion and pregnancy.

"They are going to do it" say those under the so-called Liberal and Progressive banners.  They completely ignore the facts.  The CDC or Center for Disease Control has recently released data showing that condoms and birth control are not decreasing the spread of STD's and teen pregnancy.

This report just came out in October 2011 and is entitled, "National Survey of Family Growth,"  (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/series/sr_23/sr23_031.pdf)

The survey shows an increase of STD infection and no affect whatsoever on avoiding teen pregnancy.

Abroad in Spain, the University of Navarre found that the majority of Spanish teens are not sexually active.  This speaks volumes in a nation that is succumbing to the ignorance of secularism which promotes promiscuity and other immoral behavior.  (http://www.unav.es/english/)

Moreover, teens are choosing abstinence.  A study by the CDC has found that abstinence is on the rise in the United States of America despite the push for condoms and so called "safe sex" practice.   (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhsr/nhsr036.pdf)  The CDC also shows that more teens are virgins and that the trend to remain as such is high. (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/series/sr_23/sr23_030.pdf)

The data is there: "Safe sex" as predicted is a BIG FAILURE and waste of money.

Please let kids be kids. Let them enjoy sports,  school, toys, art, video games, music, shopping and things kids like to do.  Those who call themselves Liberal and Progressive need to keep their sexual frustrations to themselves and not project it on minors.  You are destroying our young people!  Stop it!

I wonder if this "safe sex" campaign is an attempt by pedophiles to overly sexualize the youth so they can be more susceptible to bait for sex?  hmmm...
