Atheist Author Michael Sherlock Afraid to Debate Sacerdotus

Many so called atheists out there love to make themselves appear as experts in many fields. They arrogantly parade themselves online believing to hold the answers that refute God and religion.  These believe they can stump any theist.

and others; these self-proclaimed 'experts' in atheism and 'leaders' of atheism have challenged me and ran off out of cowardice after experiencing what I am capable of.

Well we can add another charlatan to that list. His name is Michael Sherlock who portrays himself as an atheist author.

This time, he invited me to debate him. I usually invite atheists.

 It is March 5th 2016 and no response from Michael Sherlock to set up the debate.  He wanted to debate me in February 2016!  Once again, another alleged atheist wanted to debate me and then runs away like a coward.  I asked him when, what time, asked him to email me to set it up and he stalls and makes excuses.  Finally, he attacks me saying I am rude just for following up on a debate he invited me to!  Go figure that one out!  

 Michael Sherlock is clearly a coward and lacks the intellectual confidence to debate me.  He and other Atheists know that they cannot defeat me in a debate.  I know their arguments better than they do as a former atheist; how to refute them and have degrees in the sciences and philosophy.  


We have another one to add to the list who is afraid to debate me. You do not need 'Sherlock' to know that this guy is scared of me.  :-)

Atheist Author Michael Sherlock Wants To Debate Sacerdotus



Atheist author Michael Sherlock who I have 'tangled' with a few times on Twitter seems to want to debate me. It is rare for an atheist to want to debate me.  Most either run off and slander me to deflect from their failure, others want to hide behind Twitter or Google + comment boxes where they can just engage in trolling behavior and garner support from fellow trolls.  As a former atheist and graduate of the sciences and philosophy I know atheism well and what atheists will say and how to refute them, so this makes me a formidable opponent.

Sherlock says he wants the debate in February after his semester ends; so let us see if he really is serious about this and not run off like David Viviano and Esther Harrison who blogs as "Rosa Rubicondior.'

Tax Fraud Atheists?



Today is tax day in America.  Atheists are not known for their honesty.  Because of this, I quickly notice red flags when I see atheist bloggers or advocates ask for money or make themselves middlemen in order to collect money for charities.  So far I have found two suspicious individuals.  One of them was banned from Twitter and was recently outed for scamming people with Oxfam, see: http://www.sacerdotus.com/2013/10/atheist-scam-alert.html.

The other one was asking for money online, but we are not told where the money went and if it was reported to the IRS as the law asks of US citizens.  I brought up the question in this post: http://www.sacerdotus.com/2014/10/atheist-hangouts-david-viviano-scared.html.

I have already notified the Tax agencies of both the United Kingdom and the American IRS regarding these individuals and ask readers of this site to do the same.

UPDATE 6/24/16
I found another scammer using the label of atheism on gofundme to get money from naive atheists. She got defensive when I asked. This lady is clearly able-bodied and can work.  Why does she need to ask for money?  Moreover, she told me that she has an attorney.

If she can afford an attorney, why does she need to ask for money? She later claimed that this attorney is her ex-husband, if so, why does he not help her?  I then asked for his information to confirm and she got really vulgar and defensive. Things do not add up.  I sense a scam artist...

Dan Arel Invitation
















The below is a tweet I saw from Dan Arel who presents himself as a writer and atheist activist.  He apparently invited the former child actor Kirk Cameron to a debate.  Cameron obviously did not reply and so Arel is making a spectacle of this.  The whole thing is silly because we know Kirk Cameron will not entertain an insignificant unknown amateur writer.  He will instead go after people like Dawkins and the like in order to garner more attention to his Creationist views.

Some atheists claim that I harass, abuse or stalk atheists, but it is they who come to me.  This is not the first time I have encountered Mr. Dan Arel.  Here are his previous tweets to me exhibiting a pathetic paranoia regarding my "twitter list;" a plea to restore "Rosa Rubicondior" and personal attacks which were unwarranted.  See below how he attacks me.  I never did anything to him.  























So "Atheist Activist" do you accept my challenge?  Contact me.

UPDATE: November 15, 2014 -  Dan Arel has just contacted me via my blog gmail account.  We are now working on how to plan this debate so I ask all atheists, et. al. to please step aside and not interfere.    







UPDATE: NOVEMBER 22, 2014 - Dan and I have been in communication via email and we are working on a day to start the debate which will be more like a discussion than a formal one.  To date, neither of us has backed out.  Stay turned until the final details are worked out.

Gamma Atheist Decays



It seems the gamma has decayed after encountering a Poynting flux dominated flow - "Sacerdotus." :) 

 After David Viviano aka "Gamma Atheist" of "Atheist Hangouts" accepted to debate me, he is still with his dilly dally. I have been 
waiting for him to email me to plan this debate better. For a while, we have even discussed a bit on his Youtube video page.  He stalled and then deleted the messages.  My schedule is tight so he 
needs to be professional.   It was HIS idea to have me on his show...
So I wait and wait until David Gamma Atheist decides to email me to plan this out.  Now he is demanding that I remove other posts on atheists... is he for real?  What do other atheists have to do with him?  It seems he is just playing games like a boy instead of behaving like a grown man. The debate should be between US, no one else.  This is not a negotiation between nations to release hostages or demand certain conditions.   As stated, my schedule is extremely filled and complicated. 

 So this is why it is VERY important that he emails me to plan this out with better detail.  There are many who want to see this debate. Some atheists have emailed me excited about it and hoping it comes together.   David is the one delaying it now. I am waiting for David to comply and follow through with his acceptance.   

 I offered him these options:

 a) Do it at around 2:30 or 3 AM EST which is usually the time I do my radio program and blog. 

b)Wait till I am off semester.  
  
c) You can post on my blog rationallyfaithful.blogspot.com following the outline and then I will reply when I can.  I can authorize you as a admin on the site in case you think I will alter comments.

 d) You and I can make videos replying to each other and then splice them together into one video.

David Gamma and Goliath

I really don't understand what's going on with these "vocal" activist atheists.  They act all big and bad online and then become timid sheep when challenged.

As you may know, I challenged David Viviano of the webcam show "Atheist Hangouts" to a debate
(see:http://www.sacerdotus.com/2014/10/atheist-hangouts-david-viviano-scared.html).  He responded by attacking me calling me a "troll."  I and others took this as a cowardice move and blogged about it.  Well the post became extremely popular globally and I guess it got his attention.

I learned today after a few people emailed me that he changed his mind and wanted to debate me. These are the tweets he sent:








I immediately wrote on my Rationally Faithful blog my response:

"Well it seems David Viviano aka "Gamma Atheist" has mustered up some courage to debate me and I would love to do it.  It would be an honor to engage him.  However, he needs to contact me via email to discuss the details and the logistics as I do represent an institution and am not at liberty to make my own schedule etc.

Moreover, the debate was my idea and I had told him where the debate would be (here).  This is the purpose of this blog.  I want to keep a static log of the debate for all to view anytime.  However, this does not mean a future debate cannot happen elsewhere after this first one takes place on this blog.  So in the mean time, it would be logical to hold the debate here until the other details are worked out via email for a future debate on another forum.  

The rules and layout are found on this post below.  I will wait for David to email me. This should be fun.  I hope other atheists don't ruin it with their nonsense.  "

As you can see, I made it clear with the "let's do this."  Well David Viviano instead began to stall by posting:






























Did you notice his stalling?  I clearly posted that I accepted and asked him to email me so we can plan it further.  Instead, he clearly stated that he is not emailing me and then claimed I did not accept. He even favorited my replies clearly showing that he read them and knows that I did not decline.

 I then tweeted even more to make sure my acceptance was clear and that I was waiting for his message to set things up even going as far as posting my number so he can text; and even posted 2 messages on a video he posted on youtube:













What else can I do?  He doesn't want to contact me so we can plan it and see when is a good time.  I'm a busy guy and I'm sure he is as well.  He can't just throw out blanket invitations and not contact me regarding the details so we can plan it out.  That is extremely unprofessional.  

 Can you imagine if Oprah or Dr. Phil invited a guest and then never tells him or her where to go, when to go, what time to be there, what's the topic going to be etc etc? 

 It seems David is scared of Goliath in this case.  Or perhaps this was a publicity stunt to get attention by using my popularity.  In any case, I wait here for his email and to break whatever stones he throws at me.  The academic giant Goliath will crush the intellectually inferior atheist.

Atheist Hangouts' David Viviano Scared To Debate

On September 25, 2014 I decided to challenge @gammaatheist aka David Viviano to to a debate.

Viviano presents himself as an "atheist activist" and "secular" and hosts an online amateur webcam program entitled "Atheist Hangouts." In my email to him, I was not combative and simply invited him to my blog for a simple debate to exchange ideas and perhaps form a friendship.

His response?  He was reluctant to debate me.

It wasn't until October 1, 2014 that he finally replied with the typical atheist smugness.  Instead of reciprocating the respect and civility I presented to him via an email on Youtube, he resorted to ad hominem.  As you know, an ad hominem is an indication that your opponent has no argument left and resorts to personal attacks.  It's funny how this pretty boy is very vocal and zealous in regards to attacking religion and promoting atheism, but runs away from me when I challenge him.

It seems that David Viviano does not have the intellectual confidence to engage me in a debate and instead, resorts to slander.  He spends much of his time broadcasting sophism via his amateur "Atheist Hangouts" program and other outlets pretending to be an expert on religion, logic and science, yet cannot defend his views against me.  It seems like he sees me as the bully trying to enter his "Atheist Hangout."  His shows are full of nonsensical leftist rants that completely misrepresent religion, God, science and the like.  It caters only to those who agree with his views.  His audience is mainly young Caucasians who seek an atmosphere of rebellion to fuel their desire for irreverence, anarchy and what not.  God forbid I or even Dr. William Lane Craig should appear on it.  We would probably be cut off or muted.  It is already obvious that David is scared to debate me and understandably so.  He does not come across as someone who has extensive college education as opposed to me who has several degrees in the sciences and philosophy.  Moreover, I am a former atheist who knows atheism and its arguments well perhaps making me a formidable opponent against current atheists.  

Moreover, I found it odd that he  was asking for donations and seems to not be doing well financially (see: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/8jdQ0).  This is disturbing indeed because in today's world, people will do anything for a buck.  I found several tweets indicating that he has been milking other atheists of their money.  See:
























Can someone say fishy??  This seems like a scam to me.  Why would an able bodied young man need to ask for donations?  If he loves science so much, why didn't he study it and get a career in it?  I don't think this kid even has a college degree.  Nevertheless, this would not be the first time someone has used atheism to sucker others into donating money.

I find it disturbing that atheists (so called) are quick to believe things on Twitter, especially donation pleas. Atheists pride themselves on being "freethinkers," "skeptics" and the like, yet it is easy for someone to claim he/she is an atheist in need and immediately other atheists will jump in to donate without verifying the claims of this supposed atheist in need.  This should be a red flag for the atheist community.  Anyone can easily pretend to be an atheist just to make money off of other atheists!

Nevertheless, I am disappointed that David Viviano did not have the intellectual confidence to face me with his opinions and arguments. He is so misinformed that it is hard watching his oovoo webcam programs. The claims he and his guests make have answers, yet they state them as if they have found strong weaknesses in religion and God when in fact they are merely misconceptions that have answers to them.  Unfortunately, people are getting exposed to programming like Viviano's and are so naive that they fall for their chic word plays and sophism.  Not many bother to research the claims Viviano and his guests make and blindly agree with them believing them to be the nails and hammer that seal the coffin of religious belief, so to speak.

If only David Viviano would have mustered up the courage to debate me, perhaps he would learn the answers to his questions.  Our debate would have served to clarify the many misconceptions atheists have regarding God and religion.

Viviano is extremely confused regarding the Bible and other religious beliefs.  Like other atheists, he falls into presentism and interprets the Bible via his confirmation bias making the Bible turn out to look like some out dated evil primitive book that we must get rid of in order to live in a modern world.  His ignorance is clearly demonstrated in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEAc51il3DQ 


He claims things in the Bible that he read didn't "click" and that science was first in his life.  Well, I would have helped with the clicking had he accepted my challenge instead of running away using insults as a cover.  I too was an atheist, and a graduate of the sciences who didn't settle for atheism as the final say in my life since I was a skeptic; but instead kept searching for the truth until I found it.  Atheism is nothing more than a circle of sophism.  It presents nothing of substance and is why atheists continue to search via their fixation with God and religion (see: http://www.sacerdotus.com/2012/12/why-do-atheists-care-about-god.html).

My offer still stands.  I'm sure he will gain even more popularity once he accepts and carries through with the debate.  Most atheists on and offline know me.  I am confident that they will love to see their favorite online atheist "champions" debate me.  My intent is only to bring about both sides in a clear and rational manner.  There is so much misinformation being fed to atheists by atheists that it is just horrendous.  A debate with me will clarify this misinformation and allow people to make up their own minds when the real facts are presented, not atheist misinformation.

So David Viviano, my challenge still stands.  I will continue challenging any other vocal atheists out there that I may encounter on or offline.  My experience as a former atheist as well as my knowledge in the sciences, philosophy and religion allow me to challenge any atheist without fear.  I already know their arguments and how to destroy them.
