The media is at it again. The Vatican announced yesterday that Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano reached the age of retirement and will be replaced by Archbishop Christophe Pierre as Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America.
He was formerly the Apostolic Nuncio to Mexico. Well, the media is now stating that Vagano was replaced because he invited Kim Davis to an audience during the Papal Visit in September of 2015.
They are going so far as to saying that since Vagano spoke strongly against same-sex marriage in the past and invited Kim Davis who was jailed for refusing to give out marriage licenses to same-sex couple, that the Pope wanted him out.
Can you believe this?
The Vatican made it clear that Vagano reached retirement age.
