Illiterate Bronze-Age Goat Herders? Atheist Lies

Alleged atheists found online often make this claim:

The Bible is a collection of fairytales written by illiterate goat herders back in the Bronze Age.

Is it true?  The answer is no according to a new find. Scientific American states in an article that mundane notes found in 16 ceramic shards and which were written in 600 B.C. inside a military fortress show that the people of the time were well educated. The article argues that the Bible or Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures) were written 2,600 years ago and states that scholars strongly hold the position that the people of the time were extremely literate due to the prose of the Scriptures.  The discovery of the shards back this up.

The findings were published in the study entitled, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. [Shira Faigenbaum-Golovin et al, Algorithmic handwriting analysis of Judah’s military correspondence sheds light on composition of biblical texts].
The notes found in the shards were written by six persons and involved military movements as well as food expenses.  Shira Faigebaum-Golovin of Tel Aviv University states:

"This means that not only their priests were able to write, but also the an army administration were literate down to the quartermaster of this fort in the desert. This indicates that in Judah, in the sixth century, there were high literacy ranks in not only the elite people but among simple people also.”

As usual, atheists are once again proven wrong.  Their dishonesty has no limits.  They will say anything to keep a narrative alive which camouflages the lack of substance found in their many arguments.  Atheism is merely a cesspool of ignorance.  The books of the Bible were not written by mere goat herders who were illiterate as they claim. This study and the research of scholars show otherwise.
