Another Atheist Blogger Killed

Another atheist was hacked to death by Islamist militants.  Niloy Chowdhury, 40 and native of Bangladesh feared for his life and felt that local police would not protect him.  The assailants knocked at his building pretending to be possible renters and attacked him.  He is one of several atheist bloggers who have been targeted for expressing their secular views.

It is sad that these atheists are losing their lives just for having a different opinion. We must also make note of the many Christians being killed as well.  Persecution is not limited to one group. Islamists will target anyone who does not agree with them, including other Muslims.  All attacks must be condemned by our leaders.  May Niloy Chowdhury rest in peace.
