Happy New Year 2015!

Happy New Year 2015!
2014 was an interesting year.  We saw new accomplishments in science via Rosetta as well as disasters such as the many storms that have hit several areas around the world.  We saw the economy come back and gas prices come down, but also saw the horrible slaughter of Christians by ISIS, children by the Taliban and many more human tragedies.  We lost many people including well known celebrities such as Robin Williams and Joan Rivers, as well as the many victims of violence in America including two police officers from the NYPD.  Let us not forget the airplanes that have brought about large losses of life.  Every year seems to bring the same: death.
Nevertheless, we must continue on and make this world a better place.  While we may not be able to control natural disasters via storms, earthquakes and the like; we can control those caused by our own human race.

Please take this time to reflect on 2014 and see what needs improvement in your life for this new year 2015. Visit, call, message your family and loved ones.  Commit yourself to contributing to the world more positively.
Enjoy life, but relax on the alcohol. Don’t drink and drive please!
May 2015 bring faith, love, hope, peace, health, prosperity, and joy to all.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!
God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family be willing to begin anew with a clean slate. We know that you are always ready to forgive us. Help us to be willing to forgive ourselves and to forgive one another.
As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values and our deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness that comes from doing what you want us to do. Help us to put aside anxiety about the future and the past, so that we might live in peace with you now, one day at a time.  Amen
