Butler gets 18 month

The Vatican's butler, Paolo Gabriele was sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing and giving the Pope's private documents to the media.  The documents showed the struggles within the Vatican in regards to homosexuality and other scandals.  Gabriele claimed that he was "doing the Holy Spirit's work" by releasing these documents.  By doing so, the "corruption" would be out and the Church could "get on the right track" again, according to him.

This is nothing new.  Menacing personalities have infiltrated the Church for centuries.  Nevertheless, the Church is of God and protected by God.  The gates of hell shall now prevail against her as Jesus promised.

It is rumored that the Pope will give a papal pardon to Paolo Gabriele.

**UPDATE DECEMBER 22, 2012**

As expected, the Holy Father pardoned Gabriele. (http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/12/23/pope-pardons-ex-butler-who-stole-leaked-documents/)
