On August 7, 2012 the LGBT community had the "National Marriage Equality Day" in support of businesses that are pro-gay. At first, the event was entitled the "National Starbucks Appreciation Day" but was changed to support all businesses that are pro-gay. not just Starbucks.
Like with the "Kiss-in" protest, this event also was an epic fail. Very little - if any - supporters showed up to support so-called "Gay Marriage."
