Just In Time For 'Gay Pride:" A New STD Fungal Infection

Understanding the Emergence of a New Sexually Transmitted Fungal Infection in NYC

New York City, a bustling metropolis known for its diverse population and vibrant culture, is also a hub for public health surveillance due to its dense urban environment. Recently, the city has become the focal point for the emergence of a new sexually transmitted fungal infection, marking the first known case in the United States. This is just in time fo Gay Pride where its demographics are known for introducing new diseases and spreading them among the population.

The infection, caused by the fungus Trichophyton mentagrophytes type VII, was identified in a man in his 30s who had traveled to California, England, and Greece and had gay sex with multiple men. Upon his return to New York City, he developed symptoms consistent with a fungal infection, including an itchy red rash on his groin, genitals, and buttocks. This case has raised concerns among healthcare professionals due to the highly contagious nature of the fungus and its potential to be mistaken for other skin conditions, such as eczema.

Trichophyton mentagrophytes type VII is not just a concern for its physical symptoms but also for its resistance to standard antifungal treatments. This resistance can lead to prolonged infection and, in some cases, permanent scarring. The rarity and resilience of this fungus underscore the importance of prompt diagnosis and treatment.

The recent case in New York City serves as a reminder of the ever-evolving landscape of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and the need for ongoing public health vigilance. It also highlights the critical role of travel in the spread of infectious diseases, as individuals can acquire and transmit infections across international borders.

Healthcare providers are advised to be on the lookout for similar cases, especially in patients who are sexually active, have recently traveled, and present with unusual rashes. Early detection and treatment are key to preventing the spread of this and other STIs.

As the medical community continues to monitor and respond to this new threat, the public is encouraged to practice safe sex and seek medical attention for any concerning symptoms. Education and awareness are vital components in the fight against the spread of infections, and this case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of sexual health in overall well-being.

However, it is to be seen if gay men will take their lives and health seriously and stop their promiscuous lifestyles.  With the existence of gay apps like Grindr, JackD, A4A and others, it is most likely that we will see another endemic among gay people.

SCOTUS Breaks Executive Pen & Other News

The Supreme Court has shot down the executive branch. Back in November of 2014, President Obama used the power of the executive pen to write executive orders that would apply temporary protection for illegal immigrants. These protections would have prevented or delayed deportation and allow them to obtain work permits. The measures were focused namely on families and their children who entered the United States of America illegally.  Conservatives are celebrating the keeping of a lower court's ruling while liberals are crying foul.

The Supreme Court also ruled that it is okay for universities to use race as a basis for admissions. Affirmative action was instituted decades ago to give minorities a better shot at entering universities which are mostly Caucasian.  The policy has been controversial, especially among Caucasians. Back in 2008, Abigail Fisher was denied entry to the University of Texas.  She claims that it was because of her race.  The university argued that she did not meet academic requirements.

Lastly, the British people have just voted to leave the European Union.  The decision could have many impacts on British society and its economy.  Already the British pound has hit the lowest level against the US dollar since the 1980's.  The decision is not mandatory since the British Parliament has supreme power over the matters of the nation.  However, it may impact the careers of politicians who refuse to follow the vote of the people.

I will update this post later with my thoughts on these current events.  STAY TUNED*

Royal Criticism

The "Royals" from the United Kingdom, William and Kate Middleton visited the United States. Kate went to New York the first day and William to Washington D.C. to meet president Obama and speak on wildlife preservation. Things seemed like typical visit from a royal until they both were in New York City.

Some flocked to see the royal pair as they went to a charity in Harlem. While there, Kate learned that her status as "duchess" means nothing in New York. While wrapping toys for children, she was taking here time.  Immediately, a staffer scolded at her saying, "keep wrapping!"  Kate looked in disbelief and gave a sassy eyeroll which has captured the attention of some juvenile people online. I found the whole thing hilarious because we New Yorkers don't give a you-know-what who you think you are.  To us, you're just another person and will be treated as such.  New Yorkers are known for being direct and sometimes rude. This social script has gotten me in trouble countless times as I tend to be very honest, blunt, direct and frank with anyone.

Furthermore, the royal couple visited the World Trade Center memorial and also watched a basketball game in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. Here another interesting event took place. Rapper Jay Z and his wife Beyonce met with both royals as protesters were outside shouting "we can't breathe" protesting the non-indictment of officer Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner. After the game, "King" LeBron James met with William and Kate.  They exchanged gifts and then the "incident" or "faux pas" occurred which had the British media up in arms whining. During the photo opt, LeBron James placed his arm around Kate which the British media decried as "disrespectful" and a "breach of protocol."  Supposedly you're not supposed to touch the "royals." Give me a bloody break English people!

Moreover, the Royal Palace in London clarified that no protocol was breached. Laura King who is the senior officer for communications at Buckingham palace said, "When members of the Royal Family meet people they want them to feel as comfortable as possible. There is no such thing as Royal protocol."

To be honest, if I were Kate, I would have been more upset that LeBron put his sweaty armpits on me than anything else. That is just disgusting.  Nevertheless, I can understand why the British might see the arm thing as offensive and an "alpha male" stance which may be an indirect challenge to William's "royal masculinity."  Standing at 6'8'' LeBron surely is an alpha male next to most males. In any event, I think the whole thing is ridiculous and shame on the British people for adopting stupid customs that place this family on pedestals as if they were divine.  Shame on some Americans fixated on the "Royal Family" as if they have any importance in America.  To us, they are just a rich family who the British people are obsequious to.

“For all men being originally equals, no one by birth could have the right to set up his own family in perpetual preference to all others forever, and tho' himself might deserve some decent degree of honours of his contemporaries, yet his descendants might be far too unworthy to inherit them.”
― Thomas Paine, Common Sense

I agree 100% with Thomas Paine. All men are equal under the eyes of God. The whole idea of monarchy is archaic and holds societies back. I really do not understand why the British people keep such ridiculous archaic customs. They have no need of royalty, it is 2014!  The British need to step into the 21st century and get rid of the "royal" family once and for all. The Queen and her family get paid over $12 million a year from taxes just for playing dress up with fancy gowns, crowns and what not.  It is a sham! How can the land that gave birth to Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking, Thomas Moore, Anselm of Cantebury allow the travesty that is the royal family?

This archaic institution needs to go.  They are simply the mascot of England.  It is a waste of money, resources and takes away from the dignity of the British people who are free and equal.

UPDATE 11/7/14

After much pressure, "Rosa Rubicondior" finally donated the monies to Oxfam today.  Oxfam sent Catholicgadfly this tweet.

Based on the wording (verb tense), it is understood that "Rosa Rubicondior" just made the donations.  The words "have been received" is present prefect tense meaning it is an action that occurred in the present-past.  For example, Let's say I just wrote a blog.  The "just wrote" means that I wrote it, it happened, but it happened recently, so it tells us of an action that happened already (past) but was recent (in the present).  So by Oxfam stating, "have been received" they are saying that the donations were sent already, but now in the present, not a year ago or long ago in the past.

See this video and links for more information:

http://leo.stcloudstate.edu/grammar/tenses.html
http://www.englishpage.com/verbpage/presentperfect.html
http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/tenses/present_perfect.htm
https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/english-grammar/verbs/present-tense/present-perfect
https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/601/01/

What is hilarious is that one of "Rosa's" sock puppets "ellif_dwulf" sent the englishpage.com to Catholicgadfly.  It was tweeted as proof that the donations were made long ago contradicting Catholicgadfly's tweet that "have been" is present-past.  Well the link ellif sent actually proves Catholicgadfly corrrect! haha

See this funny exchange:

Ironically, the tweet from OxfamGB was sent just hours after Catholicgadfly filed a report to the American branch of Oxfam reporting "Paul" for misinformation.  See here:

Note: The emails posted above are valid and accurate to the date they were received.  We were told that "Rosa Rubicondior" and her blog DID NOT donate at the time the emails were sent.  Well now she has donated today and I applaud her for finally handing in the money to Oxfam which she so proudly claimed she had done a year ago.  It took a year, but we forced her to donate it.

The report Catholicgadfly filed obviously pushed "Rosa Rubicondior" to act quickly and donate the money before the dirt hit the fan, so to speak.  It also forced Oxfamgb to actually tweet this confirmation showing the donations were made in the present-perfect tense.

This was my intention all along. I wanted all to see that we cannot trust people claiming to be a middle man in order to collect money and donate to any organization. The pressure from the tweets, this blog post and the atheists who were manipulated into pursuing this case forced "Rosa Rubicondior" to do the right thing and donate.

I will keep this post up as a testament to the fraud "Rosa Rubicondior" is capable of committed just in case she tries to collect money from others in order to "donate."

Let's not forget the AdSense scam now: see: http://www.sacerdotus.com/2013/11/atheist-scam-ii-ad-sense.html

Atheist attempt to regain pride

Our self-proclaimed Atheist rubicondior obviously lost it after losing a debate with me by forfeiting.  She is now disparaging me on Twitter, her blog and is calling for a massive reporting effort to suspend any opposition to atheism.   Twitter has been notified of this.

Unfortunately, Twitter has an automatic suspension system that suspends accounts based on algorithmic codes.  This is something they need to work on if they are to keep their service user friendly and in accords with First Amendment rights.  The media was contacted regarding this.  These tactics can be used to control speech which is illegal.

Take the case of Guy Adams, a reporter who was suspended for tweeting on the Olympics.  http://www.poynter.org/latest-news/media-lab/social-media/183480/guy-adams-suspension-punctuates-twitter-censorship-evolution/

Rubicondior recently posted a comment on my blog.  I replied with one of my own on her blog.  Let's see if she has the integrity to post it.  In any case, this was the comment:

Thank you Rosa for showing everyone how bitter you got after you were defeated by me. No one has ever brought you down to this level like I have. :)
I really dissected you before all. Now you feel the need to stalk me, misidentify me and call for massive reporting efforts against me. How immature is that? You are only harming yourself, not me. I can always come back and my blog is promoted via other means. Others are reporting you and your tweets on an hourly basis. It is self evident that your pride was hurt in August and you are retaliating... poor thing. You need anger management. It is not healthy keeping a grudge.
Reporting me and calling for others to do the same is not going to restore your dignity. If you debate me instead of running away, then this will show that you are confident in your agnostic beliefs and might restore the deference you lost after I challenged you and you bowed out like a coward.
The choice is yours: Debate me like I asked and restore some dignity or take on this new role as a bitter vengeful person who only exists on twitter to cyber bully.

Letter to UK Officials regarding Rubicondior

Below is the letter sent to the UK embassy in regards to the individual who goes under the parody alias "Rosa Rubicondior." The minor she abuses on her blog and twitter account finally saw my warnings and her tweets and took action. I have blocked the name out of respect for privacy.

Dear sir/madam,

There is an individual who goes by the name "Rosa Rubicondior" who is harassing and bullying me on blogger and Twitter. This individual is disparaging and defaming me in an attempt to attack someone out of mistaken identity. In this person's blog comments, the person posts my name, school and defames me: http://rosarubicondior.blogspot.com/2012/09/no-requiem-for-dead-gods.html On twitter, a search for @rosarubicondior and ****** will show the tweet messages in which she attacks and defames me. I do not know who this person is.

Again, the person seems to be confusing me with another person. I am concerned. It is embarrassing having my family and friends inquire as to why this individual is attacking me on the internet. Based on the blog and twitter account, I understand this individual to reside in England. What can I do to report this individual in your nation? It is scary to think that anyone can do this. I reported this to twitter and am waiting for a response and will be making a report to the blogger site.

I am a very private person and do not appreciate my name and other information which cannot be found in a search engine broadcast on social sites in an attempt to defame me - and out of mistaken identity for that matter. Any information or action will be truly appreciated.

 Sincerely,

Failed Attempt

It is sad that Rosa Rubicondior has to resort to bullying campaigns to try to silence opposition.  She is still bitter over her debate loss in August of 2012.  Now she is telling people to report my twitter account.  They have been stalking me see my previous post: http://sacerdotvs.blogspot.com/2012/09/atheists-stalking-me.html

The right channels have been contacted and the matter is now serious.

Please report @rosarubicondior and those who are spamming my mentions to https://twitter.com/support  and https://support.twitter.com/forms/abusiveuser.

Here is Rosa's home thanks to my contacts.  The authorities have all the documentations necessary.

British Spying

The British might want to memorize this popular 80's song.  Moreover, the "reality" show "Big Brother" is popular in England.  However, the British government is "creating one of its own," so to speak.  They unveiled a massive surveillance plan that will monitor every citizen electronically.  Every keystroke on computers, every email and text, every call, in a word; every form of communication will be monitored.  It sounds unreal but it is very real.

Apparently the United Kingdom is suffering from an extreme paranoia due to terrorist attacks and the large Muslim population which seems to be taking over.  I believe the government is going a bit too far.  As long as police and security officials at the borders and airports do their job, then the UK should not worry.

This is a ghastly invasion of privacy mate!
